Representing clients worldwide, Jeffrey W. Rose is the founder and principal of his law firm and has operated from a Southern California office in Orange County for the past twenty years. He works with a broad range of clients from individual artists and developers to established corporations, providing legal counseling in licensing and intellectual property transactions. His practice encompasses a wide range of commercial matters, with particular concentrations in the areas of entertainment, new media and high-technology, which includes negotiating and drafting agreements relating to licensing, developing, and protecting the value of intellectual properties.

Over the past twenty years, he's represented clients in film, animation, fine arts, and interactive media, providing counsel on a wide spectrum of developed projects. Mr. Rose has successfully represented clients in negotiations with nearly all of the major studios and publishers from the film, television, and video game industries; some of which include, Disney, Pixar, Warner Bros., Universal Studios, LucasArts, Fox, Nickelodeon, MTV Networks, Microsoft Corporation, Sony, THQ Inc., Electronic Arts, Activision, Atari, and Nintendo. Representative clients include Obsidian Entertainment, Inc., Planet Moon Studios, Massive Black, Inc., ConceptArt.org, Heavy Iron Studios, Inc., Spark Unlimited, Inc., Split, KR3W, and Coolsville Fine Arts.

Mr. Rose currently sits on the Board of Directors of Web Wise Kids, a national non-profit organization whose mission is to teach kids, parents and the community how to make safe and wise choices in a technologically evolving world. Web Wise Kids pursues its mission by creating and distributing interactive content on topics such as the dangers of cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and inappropriate use of technology and through the same media in which kids live their lives including video game platforms, online social networks, and smart phones.

Mr. Rose is the former Chairman of both the Technology Law Section of the Orange County Bar Association and the Intellectual Property Law Committee of the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association. Due to his specialization in intellectual property matters and licensing in the entertainment field and internet and technology law, he has been invited to speak before peers at numerous professional organizations and conferences; including the Game Developers Conference, California Lawyers for the Arts, the Orange County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. In addition, he has been honored to volunteer his time to guiding and mentoring law students through UCLA School of Law and UC Irvine School of Law, as well as lecturing before the Duke University School of Law.
